Notes From the Artist

February/March  2010

Water Street Arts Inc Volume 4 Issue Number  2 Friday Feb 19

Spring is in the AIR!!  Glory be, how is every one doing?  We are kinda breathing a fresh scent (memories of farm country) of a new decade of wiser thought in how we communicate to each other and  how we conduct our lives from morning to night.

In celebration to this comment please be advised that when you are around me you will eat a delicious and nutritious meal, you will experience my emotions in their real context and you will also be introduced to some real and personal people and their merchandise made by them.  So be aware you will think, read and do things you do not normally do while you are at Water Street Arts, The Cafe or where ever I am in the WORLD. The reason I am coming out of the closet...After fighting since 2005 for a voice to promote and show Art and have seen what the bottom of the barrel looks like,  I am thankful that I was fearful of the bottom. The bottom has made me and others around me stronger. So we will see you soon, yes!

Water Street Arts and The Cafe is a vital part of our regional arts venue, this company brings folks in from all over the outlying rural and resident community.  I thank all of you for your support, over the next few weeks I will again see businesses and deliver brochures regarding our services and amenities we offer as the economic recovery is starting to run in our veins.

We  have our 2009-2010 schedules up on the Events  Page so do check it out.  2010 is going to be a very promising year.   Let me know what you think, my email address; mcb6005@netzero.com.  Be sure to copy it for your refrigerator and be sure to try one event.

We also need to mention that our artists are working their hearts out and we do need folks to come in, shop and try our menu and the Chocolate Shop Ice Cream out, we can not make it with out these types of purchases as this space does cost money to keep. Please help us support our resident artists of all ages, the prices are reasonable and the food is great.

I hope you can save a $10 bill to use here.  It is greatly appreciated.

All Artists are welcome to exhibit in our monthly exhibits, see schedule  on event page.  Your art must be reviewed and checked in a week before    the show opens please call or email, 715-355-6868 email mcb6005@netzero.com

Thanks for all the support and we hope to see you soon!
